Fuel cap BMW R80 / R100 completely black anodized with brushed grooves
It is time for a new in-house product – developed and designed in Switzerland – the BDM fuel tank cap for all BMW Boxer models (R45 / R60 / R75 / R80 / R100)!
During the development, we opted for a design that perfectly harmonizes with the other typical components of BMW’s Boxer series. The brushed grooves of the fuel tank cap perfectly fit into the overall design of the motorcycle – with the grooves of the chain box lid and the valve covers a real eye-catcher with great attention to detail.
The tank cap consists of two components: the base part is screwed into the tank and the cap, also milled from the full, can be unscrewed conveniently during refuelling. Of course, the cap has a small vent hole in which gases / vapours can escape. Especially in summer and during longer journeys, this prevents annoying hissing when opening the tank lid.
