BMW R100 Bobber complete conversion 100 % road registration in Switzerland

We love what we do – day after day – with a lot of passion. In our small but fine bike factory based in Feldbrunnen, we specialize in the conversion of the old BMW Boxer motorcycles. We consciously refrain from mass production and dedicate ourselves to every single bike with all our know-how. Of course, all our motorcycles are 100 % made in Switzerland – WITHOUT exceptions. Sit on it, start the engine, start driving and enjoy the freedom! On the details:

Frame

The frame of the base bike is completely disassembled and prepared for the Bobber conversion. We use a specially developed CNC machined and turned seat tube made of solid steel and with appropriate seat holder. When working on the frame, we rely on complete perfection – the details make all the difference. The original rear frame will of course be removed! For the purpose of strut attachment, new brackets, also developed in the AutoCad, are welded directly onto the original frame. The water- and laser-cut components fit perfectly to the frame and look like original – but better.

Engine

The motor is disassembled down to the last screw and COMPLETELY freshly assembled. All parts will be replaced by new parts! The entire motor housing is thoroughly cleaned, glass bead blasted and powder-coated. The entire motor electronics (rotor, stator, ignition coils, diode plate) are replaced by improved products. The following work is carried out in detail:

  • The cylinder heads are completely disassembled, cleaned and checked for wear
  • Cylinder heads are glass bead blasted
  • Cylinder heads are also powder-coated
  • The plug tubes are replaced with stainless steel products
  • New piston rings
  • Completely new bearing of the entire motor
  • new clutch
  • completely new engine electrics
  • The valve guides are renewed
  • Renew outlet valve seat rings
  • Control of valve sealing
  • Checking the camshaft
  • new control chain
  • new sealing kit
  • Restocking the crankshaft
Vehicle electronics

The original, almost 50-year-old harness of the motorcycle is disposed of. In the reconstruction of the motorcycle, the entire harness is renewed and freshly constructed. We use quality products from the Motogadget (M-Unit) brand. All power cables are laid fresh and, if possible, hidden directly in the handlebars. This ensures an absolutely clean look!

  • Simple and modern CNC buttons for blinkers left, blinker right, horn, high beam and starter
  • Lithium-ion battery with new positioning directly on the engine and cool leather case, colour-fitting to the overall look of the motorcycle
Painting

Of course, the entire motorcycle is freshly painted or powder-coated. For all parts, except the tank, we rely on a long-lasting powder coating usually in black. The small parts, the frame, the rims, the entire engine is powder-coated. When refuelling, we continue to rely on a wet coat and always use a classic colour to match the timeless and modern look of the BMW R100 Bobber. The tank lines are drawn by an absolute professional FROM HAND and NOT painted. As you know, perfection lies in the detail.

Manual

The gearbox is also completely disassembled and freshly revised. Of course, this component is also glass bead blasted and appropriately powder-coated. The work in detail:

  • Complete disassembly
  • Deep cleaning and control of the components
  • Measurement of the bearing seats
  • Renew ingesparting and bearings
  • Precise measurement of the gearbox
  • Glass bead blasting
  • Powder coating
Final drive

When we say that we are completely revising the motorcycle, we mean it. Although the final drive of the BMW R100 usually does not cause any problems, it is also completely disassembled, freshly stored, glass bead blasted, powder-coated and completely freshly assembled again.

Chassis

When it comes to chassis, we rely on high-quality components from well-known manufacturers. The struts are custom made and precisely adjusted to our bikes. The front fork is also completely revised, shortened, glass bead blasted and powder-coated.

Brakes

The front and rear brakes of the BMW Bobber are completely fresh. All brake discs and brake pads are replaced by new products. The brake pliers are disassembled, cleaned and freshly assembled down to the last screw – in a matching black look.

Exhaust

The SIXTYSEVEN exhaust system is reminiscent of the typical look of the converted 67 fastback from the film “Only 60 Seconds”: The sidepipes are homologated and approved for 100 roads in Switzerland.

Sports air filter

All our converted motorcycles are equipped with appropriate mushroom sports air filters – of course also road-approved; without compromise.

Homologation for road service

Our motorcycles are 100 road-approved in Switzerland – without compromise and without ifs and buts. Each motorcycle is shown before delivery to the Road Traffic Office (MFK). You can sit on it immediately and start – GUARANTEE.
