A sticker kit for the petrol tanks of the BMW R series is now available from us. The design of the tank lines is strongly oriented towards BMW’s house liner and emphasizes the beautiful contours of the steel tanks. Ideal for those who have painted the tank and now want to reproduce the lining. The film can either be coated with clear varnish or applied as a finish after the complete coating. The film is of high quality and from the brand Avery. The foil color is black – the tank stickers are supplied with transfer film (as with typical stickers for vehicles).

Installation:

Applying the linen or sticker requires patience, time and a fine hand. We strongly recommend sticking by a specialist (painter, advertising technician, etc.). Due to the 3D shape of the tank, the stickers must be installed very carefully for a perfect look. It is possible to install the stickers dry and wet!

1. Prime the tank so far, apply the top paint and grind it on
2. Thoroughly clean
3. Mix some water with soap and soaking the tank (it may be very wet)
4. Cut out stickers with transfer film and protective film along the lining, both inside and outside (see pictures)
5. Glue side of the stickers also inject with the soapy water
6. Applying a linen sticker
7. align
8. Remove carrier film (spray again very wet beforehand)
9. Carefully press stickers with a squeegee (removal of water)
10. Carefully dry (Careful with hot air hairdryer)
11. 24h
12. Applying clear varnish
13. Let dry

The kit is currently available in black and white.
